I didn’t try as many new products in 2024 as I usually do. I have been going through a really tough time with my skin and had to pair back my product use to the bare minimum. I still managed to find some real gems though.

Alcohol is the worst for the skin and throw in late nights and the constant rushing around and your not going to look your best.
A face mask can do wonders for adding much needed hydration but do these two extra tips for maximum effect.
1. Icing the skin.
This can help to decrease inflammation and puffiness plus the capillaries contract and creates a pulling effect thay helps the ingredients penetrate deeper. HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE A BARRIER BETWEEN YOUR SKIN AND THE ICE!! Other you risk causing damage to the skin.
2, lymphatic drainage.
Our lymph nodes can need a bit of help at the best of time but throw in alcohol use and you are going to get a puffy face. By gently pressing on the nodes then bringing the excess fluid down to them you will help drain this excess fluid. Making your face less puffy!

I spotted some great gifts in my local pharmacy but also some not so great which just looking at them makes my skin itch!
Please please stay away from anything bath bomb, bubbles or bath salt related. They are made with cheap fragrance and a whole host of skin irritants. The same with a lot of the face masks. So. Irritating.

The best product to treat pigmentation and melasma!
Pigmentation seems to be the biggest concern for most of you so I hope this post helps.
I have done my best to make sure everything is accurate but I am not a dermatologist and you should always see a specialist when trying to treat pigmentation.
I am currently doing IPL treatments to try and tackle my pigmentation but I will be trialing hydroquinone when I’m finished so I can give an accurate review on what helps the best.
However I do recommend treating pigmentation with a mixture of treatments and products to get the best results.
