I was very kindly invited to Ailsbury Skin Solutions, part of the Ailsbury Clinic for one of their signature facial treatments.

My facial

After a detailed consultation, Rebecca decided to tweak the Clear and Clarity treatment to suit my skin’s needs. Lately, I’ve been struggling with hormonal breakouts, but since my skin is also super sensitive, we needed a gentle yet effective approach.

We kicked things off with a deep cleanse before moving on to microdermabrasion—this step gently sands away the outer layer of the skin, making way for fresh, glowing skin underneath.

Next up was a medium-depth 30% peel, which definitely had a bit of a tingle, but nothing too crazy—totally manageable! Since my chin area has been a major breakout zone, we followed up with another peel using 15% salicylic acid and 15% mandelic acid to really target those stubborn spots.

To calm things down post-peel, Rebecca applied the SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Mask, and wow—it felt amazing! My skin instantly felt soothed, hydrated, and happy again. Then came the radio frequency treatment, which helps stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. I could already tell my face was getting a serious glow boost! To further target pigmentation, we layered on some specialized lotions and serums (aka skincare magic potions).

The final step was an LED mask with red light therapy, a game-changer for reducing redness and boosting collagen. I spent 10 minutes just relaxing under the warm glow, and by the time we were done, my skin looked dewy, refreshed, and downright radiant.
