If you don't want to do full darkness, light a few candles and watch them flicker as the water melts your worries away.

4. Switch up the temperature
Many spas will have hot and cold facilities, some even have cold and hot pools. This changing between temperatures is proven to have numerous health benefits like boosting circulation, reviving up your metabolism and supporting your immune system. Try and go as cold as you can before switching to warm. While hot hot showers are generally a no no for your skin, the occasional burst of hot water (just don't burn yourself) will feel incredible!
5. Essential oil shower steamers
Love a bath bomb? What about a shower bomb? Also called shower steamers, these essential oil soaked discs transform your shower into a giant diffuser! Put them on the shower floor and as the discs dissolve the essential oils mix with both the heat and the steam for a maximally satisfying olfactory experience. They are also super affordable or you can easily make them yourself. I think Etsy is the best place to find them.
6. Waterproof speaker
What is a spa experience without some music to chill to. Sync it to your phone via bluetooth and turn on some soothing sounds or even a guided meditation. There are plenty of free apps to choose from.
7. Upgrade your shower head
Showers with a trickle of water and no pressure be gone! Luckily there are now so many affordable options It can be a waterfall shower, high-pressure shower, whatever suits your needs- just make sure it has multiple settings.
